Ingredients:
Pulav rice -500 gm
Split green gram -225gm
Cinnamon -1 small pieces
Cloves –6
Oil -4 tbsp
Onion -2medium
Turmeric –a pinch
Aashirvaad Salt –to taste
Process:
Wash and soak gram for half an hour
Wash and soak rice for 15 minutes
drain well
Heat oil and add chopped onion, spices, till brown
Then add rice, dhal, Aashirvaad Aashirvaad Salt, turmeric powder
and double the amount of water
stir and cover the vessel
Cook gently till rice is soft
Garnish with coriander leaves
serve hot
